Many readers r used to gay couples being top and bottom. I always found the lack of switch couples in mangas quite annoying. Its refreshing to see authors portray them too. Loved it.

Lol. How much do ya think switching is popular in mangas? Compared to the regular top and bottom, switches r few. Out of the mangas in the top how many of them r switches? That's just it. Most mangas with good story lines make it regular seme uke stuff. Thats what I meant. Ik there r switch mangas and quite a number of them but how popular do ya think this idea is in mainstream? When ppl read switch couples, most of their reactions r "what is happening". I just hope more mangas, longer ones, have this concept.
Still, I didn't know bout the switch couple tag. Will certainly give it a go.

I totally agree with you. The only good thing I read with switch couple in it was dark heaven. Seems like yaoi logic doesn't allow couples to be switch. That's why it doesn't look like a real homosexual relationship because the only difference it has with a heterosexual relationship is that bottom is a man.

I expected exactly this when I read that summary with a tragedy tag. Nice art. I think much of the hate it gets is because of the unhappy ending. The concept was good, but the story didn't carry the heavy feel well. That still doesn't justify to give it a 7 something rating. It has a better concept that most 9 ratings just with a sad ending. I think the plot was suited for long stories.
I don't have words but when you say pain can feel so worth it, that is what I would describe reading it as.
As much as the story was traumatizing and made me uneasy the plot is actually so good I feel so much pain and sympathy for the seme
