This is one of the few times I've been really annoyed by quite a few commenters on a manga. I am honestly stunned by their lack of patience for a traumatized girl. It's all still part of one chapter, just separated by parts.
It's not realistic for her to just suddenly stand up to people tormenting her. This isn't a reincarnation or transmigration story. This girl has been traumatized by her stepsister for YEARS and that trauma has been facilitated by her birth father along with her stepmother. She will probably get a backbone as she gains reassurance and confidence from good people around her for the first time since her mother was alive.
I know it's fiction, but still... Would you tell an abused girl to just "stand up" or "get a backbone" for herself when she doesn't even know how? She was ostracized, bullied, and tormented by the others around her with no one to go to for help since she was a very little girl. It's unreasonable to expect her to just say, "Screw you" and leave the house.
I hope the ML treats her really well and shows her the love she deserves, and I hope that bitch of a stepsister gets her very well-deserved comeuppance.

I agreeeeeeeeeeee (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Finally a comment that makes sense
Maaan I wish ppl would know just how life is being traumatized YOU CAN NEVER STAND UP for yourself if you ve been through pain suffering loneliness and everything always taken away from you these things make you WEAK and unable to help yourself because you don’t have any support
You need confidence to take such steps which comes from good people around you
However if you are fed on NEGATIVE energy since birth you lose aaaall power ┗( T﹏T )┛

I can see that almost everyone in this section of comments are not in favor of this manga, so I will say my piece.
Personally, I like the story. It might not be as exciting as some other action webtoons, but it's definitely more my kind of vibe with an MC that is mostly hiding his strength in the background, trying to protect people while getting stronger himself, and building various relationships (even with males as friends, which is more unusual with this kind of story). The direction of the story is kind of laidback at times, which helps me relax and I don't have to feel super anxious/antsy to get to the next chapter. I like it and I look forward to the updates, but I don't have to go nuts over it like some other ones i read.
Now with this recent "twist" in chapter 45 that the history within the story has changed to include Will (our MC), I feel like this is a chance for him to build an even better rapport with his allies. I like seeing the friendship/teacher dynamic between Will and Allen, so I'm curious to see how Leo will turn out in this mix (if at all).
I don't actually mind harem since I'm really into the poly-type stories like polyandry (aka "reverse" harem), all-male, and all-female relationships if the plot can actually interest me. While I have no clue about the details of this particular webtoon on whether it has a harem or not, I really don't care because the plot is more interesting than worrying about a few "annoying" girls or whatever.
Again, this is just my opinion. I felt bad seeing so little support. I really do hope more people (who see my point of view) will read this webtoon and enjoy it just as much as I do.

I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get this out despite already being on chapter 22. I couldn't believe how arrogant and shameless the three heads of those families were in chapter 14.
Earlier in the chapter, they were pissed off that they couldn't kill "Dian" and later they were absolutely livid that he ignored them to take care of Seisia! Like how shameless can one get?? The absolute audacity! "Dian" knows they're out to kill him, too! Did they really think he was going to be welcoming and gracious to the ones who constantly scheme his demise and literally almost murdered him? Wtf... I guess that's why they're the antagonists in this story. The author did a good job on making me hate them. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

I actually like both the main AND side stories. Norman is adorable, and I like seeing how he reacts to other people bothering him. If we get more of the main couple, that's great. Although I do prefer seeing more of the side story since I'm not good with things that make me cringe inwards out of secondhand embarrassment (i.e. the main story sometimes).

She seems very introverted, which makes it hard for her to speak up. She also is very concerned about sounding rude and ruining the atmosphere, which I completely understand. I just hope she can clear up the misunderstandings based on the assumptions others have made about her sooner rather than later. Maybe her "prince" will help her gain that confidence she needs.

This is just my opinion, but the recent chapter wasn't really a recap since we were able to see what Ahin was thinking when Vivi was first found and his memories that brought him to the realization that Vivi was the girl before him. Yeah, I know what others are thinking (it's obvious from their comments), but it's not like the whole chapter was nothing but a recap.
But I really don’t have a problem understanding this story. And no, I haven’t read the novel. Maybe it’s because I read a lot of regular romance empire-type webtoons? Not sure. Either way, I’m liking the intensity of it so far. It does feel a little rushed at times, but that’s inconsequential to me.
yeah definitely agree that it's not too difficult to understand. I think maybe the issue is with the development of characters/relationships with MC because it feels a bit sudden
Well, I think the issue (from my point of view) is that other people aren’t understanding that we—the readers—are coming into a preexisting complex relationship between the MC and the other characters of his [in-game] race.
We’re seeing flashes of the MC’s history with the characters and how he treated them in the past [the game], which translates to their current view of him as he is now within the game itself—his current reality. But for the characters within the game in the past, our MC was always there until he “disappeared” or rather just logged out to never log back in until the “game” dragged him inside.
Thank you! I did think anyone else got it like I did but here you are!!! The way you described it was perfect to what I was thinking I’m my head!
Sometimes I think people are skimming the chapters and not actually reading them and that makes me sad :(
Oh, good! I'm glad you feel that way. After posting that reply, I suddenly realized that I was basically just explaining what's already been shown from a slightly different point of view. I felt kind of stupid after noticing that, lol.
Maybe? Or maybe they're just tired and can't process what they're reading right now. Who knows... (⌒▽⌒)
Exactly! hence "suddenness" for some
