Even though I know she’s just a character someone dreamed up for a smutty plot, I feel really bad for Mira. She has childhood trauma that is keeping her from speaking her mind with her grandmother at the heart of it. This CEO is NOT helping her in the right way at all.
During chapter 4, he should have just stopped and talked to Mira more after hearing some of the reason why she was scared to speak up, but he instead pushed her to do more sexual things. Yes, she was aroused from grabbing the leash and I get that he has the collar and he’s aroused by her lustful thoughts, but he has way more strength and can stop himself from going too far. Sure, she asked for more, but only after the CEO pushed beyond her boundaries to arouse her further.
I honestly like the overall concept (reencounter, guy wearing collar, d/s stuff), but how it was written kind of turns me off to wanting to read more. This really could have been better.
On a side note:
I know an old woman who has a “gift” like Mira. She can see things—many of which she did not want to know or remember. As a child, she asked her aunt why there was “black stuff” around her, then her mother dragged her into another room and shook her by the shoulders. She was harshly scolded by her mother to never say or speak of the things she saw ever again. Her mother’s sister (the aunt) died two days later, which scared her so badly as a child.
Even though she could see “Death” on people, she chose to never speak of it to anyone who had the “black stuff” around them again. And it turned out that her mother also had that “gift,” which she (the mother) cursed every day until her own death.

I think I'm only reading to find out what's going on with Hirua because his mother (FL) is insufferable to me. The ML is nothing special, although his mom is great. The other side characters are fine. If that FL had a totally different character design in the way she thinks, I would probably give this story an 8/10. But with the way it is now, it maybe deserves a 2 or 3/10. Again, Hirua is adorable and I want him to recover.
Does Ruby ever get to show off her likability with some monsters (and the dragon) eventually? Her playing with them (after running away and getting lost) was probably my favorite part of the story. I've not read the novel, but I'm just asking this for those who have read it and or maybe the raws of the manhwa?

I should let this marinate for a while. When there's so many mysteries, it makes me want to read everything right away to figure it out. (I know there's a novel, but I don't really want to read it.)
I don’t really care about makeup or making myself look nice, but I love the touches of Charlize’s nails being a different color whenever it’s a new day in the story. I don’t think I see it that often in these kinds of stories. By the way, I’m only just now saying this after reading 68 chapters, haha.
It said “<Jigu> left the voice chat”, and his neighbor’s name is the same… Wow, our MC and ML are so oblivious that it’s crazy. I can’t believe that there are still so many chapters before they figure it out! （/TДT)/

(My rant is about chapter 6.)
This was probably the first time I’ve ever (quietly) exclaimed, “How can she be so STUPID?! He JUST said there was a group at the event that deals with human trafficking! Why would you leave a venue with light and people around to go into a DARK, EMPTY hallway and leave yourself vulnerable to kidnapping?!”
Normally, I don’t get this annoyed by a character (since it’s just fiction, of course), but apparently what the marquess told her just flew away from that little pea-sized brain of hers a few minutes later. You would think she would have SOME wisdom about being around strangers after living as a commoner in a bad situation her whole life… She has the brain of a naïve noble girl POSING as a commoner now posing as a noble.
Okay, rant over. (｡-_-｡)
They really should be labeled 24.1, 24.2, and 24.3 because they are in order. :)
Of course there's little to no information for a manhwa that has just started, which is written on the premise that the FL has NO IDEA what's going on. We, the readers, are in the same boat! We'll figure it out when she does unless there are some hints. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I guess I was one of the small few who preferred the purple dress. It had more of a gothic feel versus the generic light blue with a style we often see in these stories. And personally, I think the blue dress washed out the MC’s skin, hair, and eyes. It felt weird to look at, to be honest. The purple really made her shine, so I’m on the artist’s side for this matter.
