I definitely understand both sides. I used to care about other's opinions, especially strangers, but I realized they didn't really matter much in my life. Why should I care what they think since they don't really know me? I've come to have the same type of thinking as Reudiger, and it works well for me since I'm no longer plagued with anxiety to please others. (Of course, I still have social anxiety, but that's all just because I hate people, and it's tied more towards personal interactions with people I care about.)

I want this man to suffer and apologize and beg for her forgiveness. The only outcome I'll be satisfied with is Reina's response because only she has the right to determine if he's worth it or not. I feel slight pity for the man, but he deserves every pain and guilt he went through for hurting and neglecting an already abused person. Everyone can have a different opinion, which is why we should respect Reina's response since she's the one who received that treatment. We can argue all we want, but in the end, Reina gets to decide. If she doesn't want that man in her life, good riddance. If she decides to forgive him, that man better damn well make up for his mistakes.
You just gave everyone permission to enter your harem
i was thinking this as well!
