Lydia was 16 with a child and rose up to be as accomplished as she could be so she could stand by her husband, and that insecure bitch boy resented her for it. As much as she educated herself, she was essentially an abandoned child pushed to the edge and left to raise another child on her own.
i’ve been looking for a feisty, overachiever bottom, and gentle, laid back top dynamic with no luck.
my no’s are :: omegaverse, psychotic and abusive top who’s just kind or indulgent on occasion, romanticized s/a.
if you think the quality of story telling is worth staying for then i can try giving it a chance, thanks in advance <3
dojin was never a good partner, hyesung was always attracted to other omega’s and never interested in alpha’s, he only came to tolerate dohin bc he made it so he had to depend on him. dojin also straight up took advantage of hyesungs biology and vulnerability to get what he wanted. tell me one trait that he likes about hyesung as a person besides being an omega.
i need more alpha x beta OTL
it definitely looks a lot more chibby like and cute compared to the previous one but the quality is still there for the composition, decorating and the costuming. i might reread this from the start
regarding the agriculture, did remi use the same methods that pina suggested and that the second prince introduced? (the rotation crop i think) if so why was hers successful, and generally why was the second prince laughed at??
i don’t have enough knowledge in this area to understand it and words blur together
their relationship is so refreshing, but is there more chapters? feels like they could use more development (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
so suspenseful. i can’t tell if im thankful for the slow pacing or not :s
did we ever get an explanation as to what she saw that dirtied her eyes but gave her a good card? i never understood
i hate flashbacks with every fiber of my being so this entire season was torture. like bruh give me the gist and call it a day
i hope to see more loid and anya father-daughter bonding time. there are a few scenes where it’s clear he cares about her, but at the forefront of it all is him thinking of her as a tool
the scene where she cuddled up to him in the first few chapters was cute, but we don’t see the that one on one closeness anymore. when they went on the cruise trip for example, the focus was on yor sort of, and how it was weird she wasn’t there (not that it was a bad arc but i just mean that even though they were together, it didn’t feel like they got all that much closer. anya was focused on yor, and loid just felt like he was humoring anya).
it’s clear that loid still sees anya as a tool for his mission first, and his daughter second (imo). even when he came to her when the hijacking happened, it’s very believable that he did it with his main concern being about the mission, not anya herself. i feel like even loid and yor are starting to break through that wall.
i’m hopeful for the future chapters though!! i rlly want some father daughter moments :’) what do you guys think?
(sorry if this is articulated weirdly, i’m sleepy TT)
(Spoilers)
Their reasoning for why Marcille couldn’t have her wish didn’t convince me tbh. Like we know now that it wouldn’t have been possible without severe consequences, but the way it was brushed off- and everyone in the party collectively didn’t like the idea of their lifespans being heightened annoyed me.
Especially since the entire argument was “well, that’s because it’s what YOU wish Marcille. If you force others to blah and blah.” Okay, this is an argument on why she can’t FORCE it onto others, but not considering the actual idea or the benefits lengthening life spans could give to other species. If she wanted everyone to live forever, like Thistle did, then this would’ve held a lot more weight, but increasing life spans so the races were on a more equal plane genuinely doesn’t sound like a bad idea, and it annoyed me that it was dismissed so quickly. Like sure maybe to 1000 is too much, and
I get the potential risks as a result of increasing their life spans, like overpopulation. (To their credit they did argue that in order for one being to live, another may die, which I kinda get). But if seriously considered, I feel like workarounds could be thought up too, but nah they put it on the same level as bad as living for infinity and shut it down, which really annoyed me.
To me I view it like having an antidote offered to you to solve a life-threatening disease, and you just decline it because “death is natural, we must all learn to accept it.” Like bitch, take the antidote, damn, you’ll be able to die anyway, it’s not completely removing it
she’s not gonna sacrifice herself for a man that did not want her in the end lmfao
idk if anyone noticed but the moment remi took her body back, one of the first things she did was cut her hair. where we’re currently at in the manga, enough time has passed for it to grow almost to the original length emi had it at, she also paired it with the same outfit emi wore the day she got framed.
i can’t properly articulate how beautiful this is, in the time it took for her to grow her hair back, she swiftly put pina in the palm of her hand.
i hope it gets a little dragged out, since it seems we’re coming to a conclusion soon but i don’t want this wonderful manga to end :’)
The way the count died was so dark and glossed over :’( i know he was a shady guy who did some questionable things, but man, it still hurts my heart. there’s this scene where the poor guy is in bed all bandaged up with arias mom standing beside him, his eyes looked so soft and pure while he was still recovering. it’s really tragic..
it was a satisfying way to wrap up the roscent family, but his death was truly brutal.
making him confused after repeatedly harassing and s/aing him doesn’t making him secretly gay, it makes him traumatized. (even if he does end up being in denial, its evil to force him and strip away his ability to explore on his own terms).
i’m still pissed off that this was being marketed as some cute shounen ai and in reality has these poorly treated dark themes that should make it fall under psychological horror. the ‘s/a into questioning and forgiving abusers bc they liked it all along’ pipeline is an outdated ass trope that should die already, it reeks.
if you enjoy these themes i hope even you can agree that they should be labeled appropriately and separated from the bl genre instead of treating it as one in the same, so ppl who don’t like it can avoid it
does no one else find it kinda of weird the mc got executed for deception? how is it her fault for ‘deceiving’ the empire as if he didn’t personally take her in as his daughter and watch her grow up since she was a baby? like worst case scenario the dads the one who accidentally took in someone else’s kid
i’ve been skipping this bc i hate flashbacks, i just want progression abt the people i care abt and what they’re doing in the present. i’d rather have the three present chapters, im tired of waiting i wanna see anya and if her dynamic changes with damien after the bomb she threw at him :’)
