this is purely my opinion (don't attack me!!), but i felt like this could have ended in a different way since i don't approve of yui and kei's relationship. i saw kei committing suicide due to immense pressure his parents put him through, leaving yui devastated and all. maiko could help him through the pain, but the trauma that kei left on yui was so severe that yui ended up repeating kei's wrong actions--in which in timeskip he could have chosen another kid like what kei did to him. idk i know my ending is evil, but that's the only thing i can see this manga's ending :< don't hate me.
