Okay but actually, I donât see Minho living more than a year, like unlike these other Stockholm syndrome manwhas he never fell in love with taekyung like heâs just miserable, but Iâm glad the author atleast didnât make him fall in love after all of that
This was one of those horrible reads that you just have to see through the end, the only thing I liked was atleast Minho never fell in love, but other than this was horrible, couldnât put it down, but it was horrible
Okay I have a few theories on how Clarice makes it past 18
1- she actually isnât a princess (not likely bc they probably verified her blood before letting her stay in the palace once she was born)
2- her power of speaking to rocks leads to her being pardoned somehow
3- the duke overthrows the emperor
4- the emperor interacts with Clarice and finds her cute enough to live (unlikely bc thatâll defeat the big plot too early on)
5- the emperor is like âif you win this war Iâll give you anythingâ and the duke leaves for war and thereâs a time skip and he wins and asks for Clarice to be pardoned
6- the emperor ends up getting a complicated relationship with Clarice where sheâs just entertainment for her and he has no intention on letting her live until years later when sheâs close to 18 she almost dies somehow and heâs like omg wait I donât want you to die and after she survives he pardons her
Ugh why does the queen have to be a love rival, I was hoping sheâd take a liking to Clarice and be in support of having her execution pardoned
Maybe Iâm reading too much into this but I hope heâs fine and doesnât do anything else, itâs clear he isnât in a good mental state and wasnât he the same person who said he doesnât do apologies, maybe itâs just character development but the whole âsorry I got you involvedâ has me thinking something bad is about to happen especially Eunyung saying heâll NEVER be able to escape from the house
