chapter 24-
Ahin ordered Ivrin to not open the carriage door and window until the ambushers have been dealt with. Ivrin felt that it was a weird order but still acquiesced. Ivrin then remembered the time when Ahin got wounded by the wolf clan's arrows.
Ahin told Vivi to stay calm and not to argue with Ivrin. The carriage door closed.
Ivrin then told Vivi that she does not need to worry as this is pretty common. <insert fight scene, sound effects, etc.)
Window of the carriage broke. Pheromones coming from outside the carriage was so strong it reached Vivi's nose. She was afraid that this will trigger her human form which she didn't want to happen at this point. Therefore, she stopped herself from breathing.
Ivrin noticed this and asked what's wrong with her. Ivrin then remembered the subtle order from Ahin to close the windows and the door. Is it because of the pheromones? Afraid it will affect the rabbit? The knights asked if Vivi is afraid that pheromones from outside will affect her. They told her not to worry.
Vivi covered her noise and shook her head. She'll die from suffocation if this continues. She stared at Ash as if communicating with him silently.
As if predicting what's going to happen next, Ivrin screamed "Ash!" It has been a while since Ivrin screamed this way.
Ash then bit Vivi and jumped out of the carriage. Vivi knows she's going to transform any second.

Flashback - The day they first met, Ahin, Ivrin and Ash just finished dealing with wolf beasts. Ahin killed the two rabbit shapeshifters that sent Vivi away. Ahin smelled a subtle pheromone from Vivi, one that he has not encountered before. Every time Vivi sheds a tear, it smells delicious. Actually, the higher the emotion, the darker the pheromone. This is the reason why Ahin is always asking Vivi to cry some more. But whenever this happens, Vivi stops crying.
Present - When Ivrin shouted "Ash!" Ahin heard it. He has not heard Ivrin scream like that in a long time. As he reflexively turned his head to check, the carriage door swung open and a black creature jumped out. The knights and Ivrin followed behind.
Ivrin explained what happened in a puzzled expression. Ahin asked, "Why Ash?" Ahin then noticed the broken carriage window. He ordered Ivrin to take care of the rest of the wolf beasts. He'll follow after Ash.
Ahin looked around and raised his sense of smell. The scent he left on Vivi led her to the depths of the bushes. He then heard a wolf beast say, "That rabbit is a shapeshifter."
Ahin remembered that when they first met, Vivi had a weak pheromone that could be totally neglected unless one pays close attention to it. However, as time passed, Vivi's scent became more and more intense and stood out that it could not be called a pheromone of a beast that can't humanized.
A total of four times. First incident was when he tried to remove Rune's scent from Vivi. He pushed his pheromones deep into Vivi. After that, the withered Vivi fell asleep and at the same time he fell asleep.

Ahin covered Vivi's naked body using his large jacket then he sat on his knees and wiped Ash's body.
Death settled over Ash's half-open eyes. Vivi was crying. She was not ready yet to send away the one who showed her affection and the one who risked his life for her. Then suddenly, Ash's head that was being held on Vivi's arms collapsed.
Vivi groaned in a muffled scream and buried her face in Ash's cheek. The warmth remained the same but there was no response from Ash with his eyes closed.
As Vivi's emotions intensified, her breathing quicken and then she felt dizzy. Ahin tried to stop her from being overly excited.
Ahin asked Vivi to look closely. Ash's wounds were gone. There were no fatal wounds that pierced his back nor a sword cut on his legs. Vivi even tried to check Ash's heartbeat. Vivi also slightly slapped Ash's cheek. He seems to be just sleeping.
Maybe the reason why Ash is sleeping is that he took the pheromones she accidentally spilled.
Ahin then asked Vivi, "Who are you?" Vivi replied, "What are you asking?" You must have called me Vivi before.
"It's Vivi." After hearing Vivi's answer, Ahin turned away. His shoulders were shaking (laughing?)
