Sukuna said he was "interesting" but not in a gay way more in a potential fighting buddy way. Like Sukuna's so powerful that not many people let alone curses can fight him one on one. BUT he sees something in Fushiguro and thinks that if he give Fushi some more time he'll grow strong and be able to fight Sukuna one on one.

- And when He made contract with Yuuji, he said “We will see something fun/interesting” with the background of Megumi but he made the contract that he can’t hurt or kill anyone which means he can’t fight Megumi in that one min.

So I think aside from Potential and talents, Megumi might be VERY important to his plan, maybe if Megumi dies the plan might failed.
There are many theories about Sukuna’s plan, and I think what possible is he want to resurrect himself or he want to make a mess of the world like... the war between curses and humans.

Oh ok, I thought maybe he was gonna make megumi his vessel instead of yuuji

i dont think so since a vessel only comes once in many years so im pretty sure yuuji is the only one suitable to be a vessel for the moment excluding the ones that geto mentioned

It’s probably something to do with his cursed technique? Like his shadow summoning technique, maybe sukuna needs megumi to summon something for him that’s important to his plan?
