If y’all can’t handle the theme of the story then don’t bother reading it at all. I’ve had this argument before and I’ll Argue about it again . There are just some stories out there that don’t depict the real picture of SA, r*pe, and sexual abuse. Not to mention this is a work of fiction. I’m pretty sure the author doesn’t have a sick mind but a story they created that most authors can’t write. If I was an author myself, my story would have mentions of SA acts. Not because I romanticize or find it appealing but to create this discomfort of feelings no one would ever want to go through. And if it’s making you that uncomfortable then the author done a good job on creating the visual. I’ve been through something like this minus the r*pe, so my mind is already tough. Reading things like this doesn’t faze me anymore. But seeing how others react makes me wonder if you’re mentally prepared for any horrific stories at all. So don’t hate the author for writing stories that others can relate too. Just feel bad that things like this does happen. Even though yea, I said it’s fiction. And if you disagree, again, I will argue about this.
