Two things...I think rape is a strong word but I think it does describe the situation, obviously they’re dating so it’s easy to say “well they’re still together so he’s fine with it” or “they would’ve made it more clear” coming from someone who’s dealt with those types of comments in real life, is bs. Second of all I hate how bdsm is represented in the yaoi community I’ve seen like one or two accurate representations of bdsm...bdsm isn’t just about ‘dominating your partner’ or ‘treating the other person the way they deserve/want’ it is also about consent. And once again as somone who has had bdsm partners, it’s a huge deal to make a safe word and feel comfortable using a safeword, even ‘rape play’ has established boundaries and safe words like, geez bdsm is always just so misrepresented... and going back to the original point rape is “sexual penetration against a persons consent” he’s not a rapist that’s a little strong but did this chapter have a rape vibe yes...anywaysssssd I’ll be here all night folks that was yet again another one of my rants, stay safe and love yourself <3 if you made it your a trooper and feel free to express your opinions here, it’s a safe place I won’t judge
I’m just confused did they set up a safe word beforehand cuz that’s really damn important. Like and he’s saying seriously stop, and don’t a lot I think adding seriously is important...idk tho I’ve had this type of seggs and like we had a safe word set up just in case, so idk remember everybody even if your in a relationship you can get raped. But like it’s yaoi sooooo, it’s a whole other species. Also let’s not be rude to people who simply shared there opinions on it, calling them a stupid virgin and stuff isn’t making your point more valid. I personally (this may not be the case for all) have not read a lot of mangas where gay women were villanized. With this manga I don’t think they made her a villain because she was a lesbian I think they made her a girl who fetishizes gay people. For example there is a difference between; they’re a lesbian villain and they’re a villain and a lesbian. The second applies to this girl, her first character trait is the fact that she is a villain and the fact that she’s a lesbian is a side note, versus the first where it’s her whole personality that she’s a lesbian villain. You get what I’m sayin. Personally I think it’s just as important for protagonists to be part of minority groups as it is for villains to be apart of minority groups, because not all villains are heterosexual women, men, and gay men. I understand that people may be annoyed that she’s a lesbian but like the fact that she’s a lesbian isn’t her whole personality her main trait is she’s a creepy weird who fetishizes gay people...I get that in a perfect world everyone would get along with everyone but like gay women and men get in fights just like gay men and heterosexual women get into fights. The fact of whether you get along with a person or not is not determined to which minority group you are in. Yeah but that’s my Lowkey rant haha if you made it this long your a trooper, and stay safe y’all <3 oh and side note without antagonists a story legit couldn’t run cuz like you need to have arcs, climaxes, and redemption so they’re gender, sexuality and race, don’t matter unless it’s like they’re whole personality or it’s the inherent reading they are the way they are (ex. This lesbian charectar is evil because she likes women and that’s evil)because that’s when it’s get to the point of being racist, homophobic, sexist, ect. Side note two I mean no offense to these communities being apart of the alphabet gang myself I would hate to offend anybody so if you disagree understandable and totally ok.
