“spinoff” confuses me rather than saying it’s a sequel.. is this the only chapter? i don’t think so right as it doesn’t say “end”… i loved the original so much but this feels a bit ehh to me for some reason, guess i’ll just wait for new chapters all i want is a happy ending for the two of them as the original literally broke me (although i loved it sm)

For me, I kind of hoped that it would end there, not every story has a happy end and the ending made by author was suiting and it gave a closure.
They could've chosen to make both of them meet in another life (let's say Gil's soul was freed). Making them meet each other in this circumstance is interesting but not necessary.

Idk it feels like it would be a breath of fresh air, taking a "risk" and actually giving us an ending that would make sense
They constantly seem to keep us in the dark and adding twists, imo s2 will reveal more things that would, again, change how MC views Guwon and he'll no longer want him dead or smth
I mean "tragic background" his way out of the resentment of meaninglessly killing his father seems like a stretch, but then again this is yaoi, we've seen worse, to me the only way this would work for them is if The ML looses something equally as meaningful, in this case his life or something close to it ...
