Oh wow they didn't include some scenes in the mirror scene. In the novel it felt so long while here it was short. Either way, the feel and the tension was still there. ┗( T﹏T )┛

Tbh I believe he’s a good person, just a person who chose to ruin his friendship over his love. He didn’t seem like he had evil intentions to hurt the ml he just became a selfish enough to choose himself and his relationship. But he is kinda annoying, cuz he’s in love. Other then that he cares for his subjects and is trying it relies his realationshio with the ml and is slowly realizing the faults w that pink haired bitch.
No honestly, I am just scared of saying he is a good person since I feel like there's quite a lot of people who hates him. All I wanna say is I hate the pink haired bitch, like I kind of hate Heli too, but it's obvious that Heli has realized that they've done something wrong with Cael yet Diana keeps on denying that fact, girl is just delulu and too full of herself.

I agree. He is a good person. IRL this happens all the time, friendships are destroyed over love. He’s definitely realizing many things like Diana isn’t the woman he thought she was, but he wants to salvage their relationship. Now that Kael is back he’s realizing how much he means to him and the empire. He wants to fix their relationship.
I might be wrong, but I don’t think he desires Hestia in a sexual way. He’s overwhelmed with work and thought Diana would be handling many things like preparing the palace for visiting delegates, rubbing elbows with those delegates and their spouses as well as the important nobles that support him. Instead she’s ruining these relationships. Hestia is an excellent business woman, she has her “foresight”, she can negotiate and blend in with everyone. He needs this so his wicked side is telling him she has to be there to help him.
Lol, guess we’ll find out in the next chapter when she accompanies Kael to the palace, if Heli’s intentions toward Hes are more than his need for someone to help him.
Right?? I agree with your insight as well, this happens IRL as well, and I think Heli realizing his fault is already his start of redeeming himself. You can also see he's trying to also reason out with Diana because he still loves her and he wants her to not be hated by the nobles.
