It’s name on t4p4s is: The Unquenchable Mr. Kim

God damn, it’s not even their work to put these huge a$$ watermarks on it!!! If anyone knows where to find the original manga, please let me know. Just because I read illegally doesn’t mean I don’t read legally so ya’ll can cut the crap and stop saying to be grateful because you’re reading for free.

Well, if you considered it, the group probably bought the raws and scanned it, so they pretty much have the right to put a watermark on it (since its their site and all), since they did put the hard work into redrawing it and stuff. Its kinda why newtoki has watermarks, minus the fact they manually put it on the panels after its posted.

Im gonna address my opinion about the watermark issue, and honestly, I don't mind it, and I'm grateful for it. Why? Because the group picked it up for us and spent time to clean, translate, and typeset for us. The watermark is there for a reason so that the work that this group did won't be used without permission or such because people can steal other people's work. And if your wondering why they spent hours on something that they were gonna cover up with a watermark, keep in mind that it is their raws and clrd so they can do what they want with it. I get if your mad because you don't get your "reader's satisfaction", but you gotta know that people spent time on this, and if you can't appreciate someones decision and hard work, you should go buy your own.

Uhm, no? I know that this is an illegal site, but come on... Think about it, even if I buy a book, a manga, a visual novel and I tranlate it by myself, without contacting the original author / editor /shop, it is STILL a fan-translation! They don't have the right - in the official definition - to put their watermarks there. It is a publicity like that. It is not their art or story, even if they worked lot of works with it.

You may be right, but I'm not talking about it in an official definition. I'm talking about it in a scan group way because they share it with others, and even without the watermark people could say that they claimed the chapter because they can reupload it without the credits page or they could crop it out. In scanlation there are things such as "claiming wars" so maybe to avoid people from other groups trying to steal another groups cleans and claiming them as their own, it is for the best to put the watermark on it. I'm just saying that people who are complaining about a watermark should chill down because
1. The group could drop this project because of peoples' complaints
2. You're still reading this for free, on an illegal website. If your asking for raws, those are still passed around illegally. If you want to get your "readers satisfaction" you can also go buy it legally yourself.
-> Though it might not be their art and story, they did purchase the raw japanese version, translate it for us, and redraw sfxs for us. In this case, they've done a lot of cleaning and stuff, so in scanlation, they can probably put a watermark because it is their claim and their scanlation. Whether or not ou should still enjoy the fact that they translated it for you and not focus on the watermark.

The watermarks are so bad they’re so distracting smh

Lmao you’re allowing yourself to be disrespected over a comic? And I AM leaving, I’m searching for the original manga right now. I will not shut up and allow watermarks to be shoved at my face just because it’s an illegal website. The only reason I read Japanese manga here is because they’re hard to find.

Good to know there isn’t an English translation. Thanks for the info. ! Probably just saved everyone a lot of time, myself included.
Re my ‘advice’ to support the author, I was speaking on my own behalf. I stand by it since it extends to mangakas in general, not this one alone. If it serves as a reminder to support the author, that’s a good thing. Not always possible (like this case), but where you can —if there is an official translation in the language u need available for purchase and it’s within a person’s means to buy it, then I would. That’s what I try to do esp for new creators and sometimes I forget when the works are so readily available on sites like these.
╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
At the end of the day, this is an illegal site robbing works from creators. So if the watermarks are fucking ridiculous (which they are lmao) it’s what’s available. You can try to find another, better pirated copy elsewhere, but it seems that’s your only option unless you want to assume the work of the current team and make it how u see fit. It’s a lot of work, but it’s not impossible if it’s that important to u.
The first translation was much better and much more understandable.
