Me googling after read this: How to make a manga chapters be infinite?
I read the first 6 chapters and decided not to read it and I’m glad because I read the last chapter and I was disgusted how the f*ck did uke got smaller like REALLY SMALLER, he doesn’t even look like himself!! From all of the mangas I’ve read so far, the art style should become better and better over time as new characters get released but this’s the first time where I see the art style got worse! Wtf?!
Pffft I really laugh when the author tweets on Twitter that if you can’t afford it then don’t read it, ok let’s say I can’t afford it but I read it and let’s assume that suddenly the illegal version of her manga gets deleted and now the people who can’t afford the manga can’t read anymore, is that going to change her income? Since the people who can’t afford it aren’t going to buy it even if the illegal version gets deleted. She just vent out her anger on the illegal readers because she doesn’t want to admit that this’s a low income type of work. Because at the end of the day people who can afford it will buy it and the ones who can’t will not buy it. You don’t need to be a genius to figure that out.
Maybe you read it here because you can't afford it and you're right you don't cause the money loss to the author. But you don't need to be a genius to understand there are many people who read for free even when they have money and the fact this site exists allows people to read and save money
Also feeling entitled to get something PAID for free just because you can't afford it is so disgrading to the person. Imagine you have a bakery. People who cant afford cakes would steal them from you and their excuse would be : "but if we won't buy it, and no one else buys it, the cake would go bad and you would have to throw it away! We don't cause any money loss, duh!" Like yeah it's kinda true but it doesn't feel right, does it? It would be different if those people talked to you about it, explained their situation politely. But they take the cakes illegally and laugh in your face when you caught them.
I don’t feel entitled to anything, sometimes I can afford buying the new chapters and sometimes I don’t and I don’t even read illegally when I have the money to purchase cause I feel guilty. And plus this isn’t a cake, this’s a virtual content and people here aren’t stealing since stealing means depriving and people here aren’t depriving anything from the author they’re simply providing for free. I’m not by any means saying it’s right but it’s mostly harmless. And the authors have low income is due to the fact that most people who read this of type work and especially “bl and yaoi” are teenagers without a job a can’t afford it.
But this is another problem... Bl and yaoi are targeted as +18 content and the paywall is supposed to keep it away from teenagers. Exposing porn content to minors is harmful for them and there's plenty of studies why is it bad for young people to consume porn
Maybe I'll try to explain it in a simpler way: Imagine you do other kids' homework and get paid for that. One day one of those kids share the homework you did with 10 other people. Is it abusive against your rules and work? Yes. Is it stealing? Yes. Does it change your income? Maybe. 8 of those kids are poor, but the other 2 could have bought it from you, but now they have no reason to do so.
Minors will always find a way to watch porn if they want to before the internet we had dirty magazines. Its not the artists job to make sure a kid doesn’t see their art thats 100% the parents job.

There's plenty of minors who come to "manga sites" to read naruto or some shit and the mature comics are there just next to it. They can look up to find porn, but the mature comics are pretty much slammed to their faces on the way. I agree its parents' job, but it's hard to keep up and dig deeper when manga sites look SFW at the first glance. I remember myself being younger and looking for some mangas and randomly finding porn. Even if I weren't horny or in a mood at first I would click out of curiosity.And I know I weren't an exception

I have read a lot of readers say it gets better after a point (sorry I forgot the chapter they put ) and I think it is after chapter 21.
I do believe it is the localization that cause many issues. The Korean is very interesting. The French is also (which follows the Korean story) I can’t read the localized English version.
