I want the future chapters to carry the same angst and regret energy, capturing that raw, painful growth. I need it to be excruciating for him—where he hits rock bottom, collapses to his knees, and vomits. I want him to do the Usher slide toward Dan and beg.

I’m glad to see Haruko get the happy ending she deserves, especially since arranged marriages often come with so much heartbreak. It’s rare to see a story where the wife not only escapes a broken arrangement but actually finds fulfillment afterward. It’s a change from the usual tragic endings we often see in these kinds of story.
