Kuu is obviously a boy and knows some Japanese so he can talk to Natsuki. Adone was jealous that the older brother could talk to Natsuki but he couldn’t so he asked Kuu to teach him Japanese. Kuu taught him “hate” and tricked Adone into thinking it would make Natsuki happy. Clearly Natsuki was upset at being told that Adone hated him but he corrected that mishap quickly and realised that Adone meant “I like you” not “I hate you.” Kuu is trying to get in between Natsuki and Adone for an unknown reason.
