Satou and Yuu are broken people who fix each other up for their sakes. It's just that Yuu didn't have to be broken. He could have had a normal life, a happier one. Just because there was no intercourse during the assault does not excuse it from being traumatic. Yuu was a child. All he did wrong was be a child. In front of a bad person. I will excuse their eventual ending with the fact that no 2 people have the same feelings about their trauma. And for Yuu this was his way. And that satou magically understood that and it simply aligned his feelings to it. I just wish they could have at least addressed it for my better understanding.
