it depends some people do get their memories back especially memories which left a mark on them those are often memories of their loved ones or families + some medicines can work wonders,also alzheimer as a illness will not kill you but it can yes and as i said it really depends on the grade of it but dementia tho that one is trickier unfortunately with dementia the chance of getting better is really really low i had a patient, 40 years old she had days where she was completely back and days where she acted as if she was five i heard she did get better with time and left soo
