So I didnât read the manga but I watched the anime a while ago and Iâm now confused about one thing. When Ichigo got his powers back at the end, did Zangetsu return as well? Or is he just gone for good? And what about white Ichigo? Is he also just gone for good or did he come back?
(Itâs been over 3 years since I last watched the anime and I am re-watching it now but I canât remember anything about the ending for the life of me)
Yes Zangetsu and Getsugatensha should have returned. It was heartbreaking that Bleach was essentially rushed when it got canceled so the ending of both the manga and anime wasn't very fulfilling...I would have liked to see more time spent with Ichigo wishing his soul partner(s) farewell and then see when they returned. Ichigo's Hollow (white ichigo) returned as well. I recently rewatched the whole thing out of the excitement of the continuation of the anime...hopefully Tite isn't rushed and can take his time. Also I hope for less filler, even though some of the story archs were interesting like when the zanpakuto got physical forms, but others made me forget what was going on with the main story arch.(ă„ïżŁ ÂłïżŁ)ă„
