I’ve been looking for a yaoi manga from a few years ago where the mc ran away from his partner, who may have been very possessive, and I mean ran away to a different city/ job. But then there’s a scene where that partner and him make eye contact in a busy street. At this point, mc is either in a relationship with a woman or is trying to court her, his ex seduces that woman who finds out about it being a scheme and leaves. They end up sleeping together and probably end up together again.
Sorry for it being vague, it’s been quite a few years since I first read it and I’ve been looking for it on and off for a while now if anyone knows it I’d appreciate the help
If nothing else I’ve very confused as to why the king listened to the words of a random as all heavens priest and abandoned one of his daughters because he was told to do it. Like hello?? Aren’t you the highest power in your country?? The fact that the fl’s mother distanced herself from him, which solidified his decision to basically punish his daughter for existing, shows me that he is at the end of the day really tells me that he shouldn’t be in power since he doesn’t even try to get more information about the situation before making a decision based only on his own emotions rather than the facts. Also, well, the fact that he’s been neglecting and borderline abusing his child via neglect (letting her go cold and hungry, plus letting rumours spread about her and therefore leading to servants abusing her, all the while the other “daughter” gets treated like a god to the point that she never even got a scratch till she was an adult). OFF WITH HIS HEAD.
As a side note, I really wish this would hurry up and that white haired bitch gets some good old retribution soon.
Chapter 23, page 3- she looks like she’s got thighs on her chest not boobs. That author be having some very specific thoughts while drawing this…
Enjoying it so far, but to be fair the cover having one big boobs lady and one wearing a barely covered bra lady is a red flag for me that it’ll probably start going downhill sometime soon ( ￣□￣||)
Just came back to this after mot reading since the early academy chapters (around 90 or so), and I have to say I’m disappointed with how it came out. I didn’t mind the romance between female mc and guardian, they were cute, but how did the story go from having 2 MCs to only the sister being the mc and the brother was basically swept under the rug?? It looks like the author read too many romance manga after chapter 100 and decided to basically change the genre, plot and ending beaded on that. Also, the whole duckling analogy makes no sense because they were basically leaning against/ protecting each other from the get go, he isn’t the older brother who raised and protected his sister till she grew up… it doesn’t sit right with me how he was just set aside to achieve a romance based ending after all this time Σ( ￣□￣||)
Does anyone remember in which chapter the twins “nurse” their older brother back to health? I’ve been trying to find it and re-read all the chapters but I guess I missed it

Honestly this really hit me in chapter 5 but why is the uke made to look so much like a woman?? Does this author have a thing for very weak (prone to getting abused/ assaulted) very female looking men? I’d understand and have nothing against a male character looking feminine, but first few panels of chapter 5 he literally has the clothes, hairstyle and everything else designed to make him look like a woman??
I don’t care about how at the end of the day his abandonment of his kids is justified in this manga, he abandoned them with no food money or identification papers (they didn’t have passports to go to america and no way to get them).
If a war broke out and they tried to get out of the country they’d literally have no way to do so. Also, the barely had any access to food and could have starved to death while he was “defending them” from dungeons… dungeons in AMERICA. They could have gotten sick with no money for healthcare, been kidnapped when someone figured out there were two young kids living on their own with no relatives but noooo he was protecting them all along. Happy times all is forgiven :)
Trying to find a manwha where the mc is the daughter of some rich/ powerful black haired dude and he left her to be looked after in her uncles (or whatnot) house. The uncle is a doting father to his spoiled daughter and basically spends all the money he’s given by mcs father to look after her on himself and his daughter, as well as giving her all the clothes that were sent for mc. Mc is treated like a servant and wears rags. The father of mc shows up during a ball, sees her sobbing on the floor and takes her with him.
