I understand moonie because honestly the plan is not realistic. The mom is more likely to just make him move in with her then he has to move during his important school year and also leave Hangun. If the mom denies but doesn’t do anything the father will know and punish moonie horribly, again resulting him to do worse on his sat and separate from moonie. All he has to do is hold out a little longer and he can get away from his father without him theoretically finding out anything and he won’t have the added stress of like sat or anything.
Everyone saying he needs to move out immediately aren’t realising that this could just make his situation worse and longer if it’s done without any planning or forethought
