First time seeing a manga rep Vancouver T^T. I was trying to analyze all the shots of the city and it all looked like gastown. I think I saw the steam clock too. Is that what Vancouver looks like to everyone else?

just checked the tags today...why’s there a psychological tag? Within the 133 chapters I’ve read, psychological isn’t really the first thing that comes to mind at all.
well the first chapters are way to awful for it not to be psychological i mean cmon she got raped, her father got killed, her baby got killed cause of the father. Oh and lets not forgot she ends up with him anyway. Yay for romanticizing toxic relationships and ignoring scars. for me it should have had a trigger warning I do not tollerate authors forgetting to put trauma in a story about character growth.

I think that you might have missed some things in the plot. Because I 100% understand what you mean and why you hate Ruve(I’m ahead in the novel and I only came into this site because tappytoons doesn’t have a comment section), however he is a completely different person in this timeline than he was before. And the MC addresses this point numerous times, but she doesn’t want to accept this yet because she is not ready to.
She is now evaluating him based on who is he NOW and what his current actions are NOW, because she knows fully that the person that she knew before no longer exist. And if you remember we see that Ruve disappears way before he finds the letter that was written to her in the earlier chapters talking about her past life. And we see how he couldn’t believe how he was portrayed because he was longer that hateful towards he and was already changing into who he is now. He still has a long way to go but he is no where near where he use to be before.
And we also did learn that he always loved her, he just resented her for things that she had no control over. He never truly loved Jieun and Jieun even tells us this and of what occurs after her death.

Or the possibility that he was not blushing because he saw Akane, but rather he saw Ai. Remember that in his past like Aqua was a huge fan of Ai and her acting must have been really convincing because Ruby also mistook her for Ai. If Akane confesses though I don't think he would say yes because even if she acts as Ai, it's only an act and not Ai herself.
