I think the low bar I accepted is based on the fact that uke was so broken he didn't care about getting beaten at the end and the broken leg because of how he was spiraling...first time I dislike a ārelationshipā but enjoyed the story. And some steaming moments where good/hot from time to Tim. For some reason the way it was portrayed here I could handle it more than The Abyss since they where both in the same broken mentality and want to stay there.

The conclusion actually made me sad.

Man Im rewarching this after so long and it's so hard to do. Just finished season 1 and it just reminded me of how I felt ml really was so disgusting. They make it āfunnyā by Mc hitting him but every time he speaks as if MC should be grateful, makes me wanna hurl, and the part where he takes him to the brothel being pissed because Mc is choosing what he was forced into makes my blood boil. The only thing that makes me happy is that he starts spiraling after he becomes aware, but still I don't think he suffered enough because realising the mistake, then the rut assault happens haaaa why am I rereading
