I think the low bar I accepted is based on the fact that uke was so broken he didn't care about getting beaten at the end and the broken leg because of how he was spiraling...first time I dislike a “relationship” but enjoyed the story. And some steaming moments where good/hot from time to Tim. For some reason the way it was portrayed here I could handle it more than The Abyss since they where both in the same broken mentality and want to stay there.

Man Im rewarching this after so long and it's so hard to do. Just finished season 1 and it just reminded me of how I felt ml really was so disgusting. They make it “funny” by Mc hitting him but every time he speaks as if MC should be grateful, makes me wanna hurl, and the part where he takes him to the brothel being pissed because Mc is choosing what he was forced into makes my blood boil. The only thing that makes me happy is that he starts spiraling after he becomes aware, but still I don't think he suffered enough because realising the mistake, then the rut assault happens haaaa why am I rereading

Ok I reread it and got more confused. He went to save him for the Goldies, but he said everyone would die, so ml decides to threaten one of the goodies to keep him ok until they could trade him by acting like they were giving Mc to a pervert old alpha in need of an heir. Then ML was pondering on what he could do to find Mc’s mother. And one of them was to give back Mc so that they could safely follow the bad guys and find the mom( ml said he wouldn't do because he was not ok with that) the other was the dangerous way that was kidnapping someone forgot name, and destroying the organization which was more dangerous. After Mc sees about the brain-dead shit, he tells ML to give him back because “trust me, bro” so that he doesn't die, making ML get pissed off and once again, assault him. To then in the next ch, he tells him , “you don't have to do anything, ill take care of everything, don't think of leaving me behind, I don't want you to get mixed up in this again”(did i miss something between the anger and assault and the bathroom scene!??) then continues to say that Goldie’s are picking him up and instructions of what to do for when it goes down…we are doing basically the plan i said I was not gonna do, and hence same thing mc was saying…send me back….so what the heck was this roller coaster for?
