Just now realizing that in Chapter 35, when Zhenya and Tae arrive at Sergei’s mansion, Zhenya tells Sergei he’s “got a hold of a good item. Thought I’d show it to you first”. Where TAE is the “item”, and (this could be a stretch) Zhenya (probably) knew Sergei had a thing for Koreans/tan skin. So when he says “I’d show it to you first” , Zhenya really meant “I’m showing you my new bf that you can’t have”!!!
I thought it meant I’m showing you something you can play with because Zhenya mentioned to tae what type the dude liked zhenya had already planned on tae to be be the bait for him (I think) but this is logically not head canon.. since if zhenya really wanted to show him tae was his I think he would’ve acting more “protective over him” but instead he really just acted like he didn’t care and was laughing at tae for the the dude was treating him
Ohh yes! I like this interpretation as well!! I think Zhenya seeing Sergei fondle Tae and stuff really “set him off” in a way. He seems much more interested on taking Tae for himself- so I agree with your “protective” canon
No that’s not really what I meant I don’t think it set him off or anything like that since I think he already knew this was going to happen and he planned this in order to get more information or he knew that tae was going to find out who he actually is
