Exactly, idk why the ML always has to be a rude asshole, and the 2nd ML is always an angel. When he stole her food and gave the smug smile I actually felt my sanity snap and die

Oh, when he sent her to sleep with no blanket, I wanted to smack him so hard. How dare you a man do that to another female WHO has done nothing wrong to you. I don't care WHO he is, no man has EVER treated me like that, and if he did, he wouldn't just get to go to sleep that's for sure.

She has bent over backwards to appease him, and he just never stops. I was also gritting my teeth watching him smirk at her as he took the food like a child, a GROWN ASS MAN who acts like a spoiled brat.

I can see him saying you're going to be my personal assistant on this matter moving forward, so you learn something for the future. That way she can't get closer to the SL. He has that petty BS written all over his angry pout.

Right, the SL is so precious looking for a new place for her and making sure she can afford it. I get it this man is supposed to be hard to get, but at this point, I don't know if I care all that much. I'm sure it will turn around in my heart, but now he's gonna try and humiliate her again with her JOB because of stupid jealousy? That's all this was for him, and he won't recognize it because he isn't the kind of guy who recognizes jealousy in himself because he's too high brow for that behavior, so we'll just see him angry without apologizing.

Lol yeah his emotional intelligence is that of a 9 year old and yet when he finds out that she’s the daughter of that firefighter he’s gonna change his tune all of a sudden. I want him to have to work hard to gain back her favor cause he’s treated her like shit even though it’s not her fault that she’s in his apartment, it’s his sisters fault for not telling either of them. I want to see him suffer from jealousy over the 2nd ML being close with the FL

Right, he can't just get her without working for it. Yes, which is why I hold on for the back story, but I want to know spoilers of how he is changing, and yet, it's crickets out here. I think everyone is of the same mindset that this guy deserves pain. lol

I think it wasn't out of nowhere, honestly he has been pretty immature but he has always said to break up with him, which was dumb since he could do it himself, but if you look at it from another perspective he still wanted to break up despite feelings of loving him or their past together, he was impatient and immature and waiting for the axe to drop, so when it finally did he didn't have any qualms about it and let it happen, again he still could have done it himself, but the breakup wasn't bout if maturity but relief.

I think it’s because when breakup was just a prospect, it was scarier than when the reality kicked in and he could finally just admit to it
Coz it’s scary to go into it one sidedly so it’s better to try and make it last but it was obvious that he had that mentality from the beginning of the story—
