i really REALLY want senju to be a girl, we don't have enough girls right now, plus we'd finally have one that has a whole fucking gang under her command, like cmon
i like how asta is helping noelle but not in a "noelle is a damsel in distress" type of way. she still wants to fight and she is not defeated in mindset (can we talk about her character growth omg). i think the whole "she needs to be saved my the male mc" trope is overused and very weird, especially when it essentially squashes any form of potential for a female character to grow or show any kind of development. plus, asta coming after getting help from magma (almost like a tag team) just seems so cool to me
i have been so pessimistic about this arc because i found it messy and slow and to be honest, just a little boring, but these recent chapters have been good and this was an insane chapter. finally seeing ashito use his skills to score goals through his teammates is what i've been waiting for. FINALLY he has really shown the growth we have been waiting for. im in shock. him noticing his teammates quirks as well as allowing them to play and score is super. he has shown so much growth from the last match. im so happy
they have the sweetest relationship ever, im miserable
