is anyone else feeling kinda emotional because eijun is not only pitching brilliantly, but comparing this performance to his ones in act 1, and even the beginning of this act 2, he has really come so far. he is finally getting the recognition he deserves and he is a really reliable ace with pretty much flawless control, a range of pitches to throw and now good speed on his pitches. this is what makes reading all 600+ chapters prior to this moment worth it. i am just so happy rn!!

i was literally screaming when kuramochi sprinted and caught that fly. seriously, seeing how the pick off worked against him, i am so glad he was calm and alert because the infielders had all moved in so kuramochi was at a disadvantage yet he still caught that ball. yup, he is one of the best shortstops in their prefecture.

with maezono's injury and amahisa's incredible pitching, all i can do is trust seidou because they are going to nationals. kuramochi is NOT graduating yet, not when he and haruichi have to show japan that they are the best highschool keystone duo!! i know seidou are going to nationals (they have no choice) but im so nervous ahhhh
ryuu is literally such a sweetheart so even though endou apologised for what he did, endou still sabotaged ryuu's chances to go to germany for absolutely no reason so i am still pretty freaking bitter, so he and his team cannot win against busou.
though, i will say as ryuu has slowly been learning how to catch the centre of the ball, i feel like that will come into play here and that he may get that feeling again in a key moment. knowing how ao ni nare is and how smoothly growth/development or key moments are added without it being too cliche or "power of the protagonist", that may play a key role at a pinch, changing the tides for busou. all in all, busou will win, but i get this feeling that catching the ball many help busou win
True.. (β'β‘'β)οΎ
