In all honesty the more I read the more I am convinced there isn’t anyone better than him as a ruler. Everyone is so focused on their own goals and I kinda don’t feel ANY energy of a ruler neither in the ML neither in his father neither in his mother.
Rishar is strong but not as emperor kinda? Etienne is way too smart, the only thing he lacks is confidence and maybe independence.
Wouldn’t mind seeing him ad emperor in the end, I hope he does whatever he wants tho. Maybe being free is the best way ‘cause he spent his life being used and manipulated, he doesn’t need anybody that protects him. I like Rishar but I hope the one who will save Etienne is Etienne himself, because I believe he can do so and doesn’t need to ask sorry to anybody fuck!
THIS! if it came down to it, rishar would 100% choose etienne over the kingdom. him choosing to fight all those years and gain allies was only for the mc- in order to have the power to protect and serve him as a king. the biggest hurdle to etienne is his mom, so as soon as she’s out of his path he’ll definitely grow more into an outwardly charismatic and selfless leader
also im hoping for that too, the prince breaking out of his own prison would be so symbolic! it’d really show how much he values benevolent powers in his kingdom and has the will to rule (by protecting himself/his people)

I like the story but there seems to be something missing. The Mc got more chemistry with the Prince even though it’s a super toxic relationship…Ziegreg feel kinda flat or maybe it is the whole situation making it kinda no deep emotions(?) He feels more a second lead than the ML.
Also damn, betrayed by the one closest to you too, that’s sad. Prince is an asshole even in the end LOL
Funny i get the other version i feel like the chemistry is there even tho there isnt alot of time together the time and love making they share really get the uke turned on like he mentally enjoys it not like the prince who does crazy stuff to Make Rise out of the uke to enjoy it. Anyone can fuck but not anyone cant turn u on with a spark i do wish they had more time together rather with the prince but unfortunately it seems the story needs the ML to hurry and get to a higher position before that is proving to be difficult as it seems he has alot to grow and lets be honest its to slow.:( but still good just i hate how the prince keeps having a go at the uke annoys me
