Wow the fact that this isn't in modern setting is what surprises me, first chapter would kind of make you think it's boring but so far the rates and reviews are good so im definitely gonna come back for this. For now im just not too used and interested with the fact that they have ugly styles of clothing and dull color, too monotone i think? Or is it the lightning and shade? that's what makes it seem boring, coloring of the art is really important for the appeal of the story especially for manhwas.
Yup this confirms my thoughts, i took a sneak peek of the future chapters and their color still looks dull and dark especially the background, even in the seemingly "expensive and luxurious" place, the coloring makes it seem like an abandoned palace. Still, im not to judge, i also checked the latest chapters and i see the improvement of the art. I might look like im complaining, not like i can do anything better, but i tell you, the art is really important for the appeal of manhwas, even if the entire plot and the delivery of it is interesting, no one would be able to go past a chapter of "unattractive" art style. It's still good, might be the quality of the uploader. Hope no ones hate me about this
hmm the art style suits the storyline. This isn't a vibrant fantasy, it is a story about war and conquering. I would equate it to 'kingdom' if you have read that? it doesn't make sense to have bright coloring when the mood of the story doesn't fit.
Im surprised that their relationship and emotional progress is smooth as fuck, this is definitely my cup of tea, mc have a normal person personality and thinking so i don't understand people saying he is cringe, that's how normal people process their thoughts. Also i love that there isn't much unnecessary drama going on except for that gold digging guy who wanted to mooch off of mc. Regarding the topic about how neither of the mls not having a sort of "chemistry" between them, i think it's because they're too casual about their feelings and that's what's hooking me into it, because it's not normal in these sort of bl plots for mcs to just casually fuck, talk, and interact with each other even though they have "feelings" for each other. For the two mls having better chemistry than with the mc it's obviously because they have more emotional interactions like fighting or getting jealous over each other for interacting with mc. So that's it, all in all i love it 5/5 it's nice. I hope it ends in poly relationship, there's definitely a chance especially mc liking both the mls i don't think he'll be able to choose between them, and mc have quite fair intimate interaction between the two so it's a fun light hearted story ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
The only cringe worthy moment here is the two mls dancing and posing of the school field like some chuunis srsly made me skip it
