I think Sonoās mom didnāt want him to hide himself the way his father did. I donāt think she wanted him to be āstraightā. At least thatās how I interpreted it. The way she asked Yano to help Sono seems like she wants Yano to help Sono be himself more than pretending to please others. I feel it wasnāt fair for her to lean on Sono that way but itās understandable why she did. I also think that she blamed herself in a way. Hopefully, in the next volumes, we will see Sono and his mom talk things out. I really like how this manga is goofy, angsty, and heartwarming.

As much as I donāt like how vague the ending is, I like how it came full circle. Jooha saved Dooshik at the beginning and Dooshik saved Jooha at the end. They started over. Jooha doesnāt remember the painful memories of his mom and Pilworm. His mind could be at peace and live his life without fear. And all Dooshik wanted was for them to open their restaurant and live happy. I wish we got more side stories of them being happy and live a domestic life. Iām glad the story didnāt get all twisted and stretched out. I just wish for the artist to release side stories of them and confirm that theyāre indeed alive.
