I'm at ch4 and just wanted to say that the 40 year old man you saw in ch1 was killed and replaced by a 20 something year old man in ch2 and remained thereafter
I feel like the mangaka was forced to put in that character because it literally came out of the blue and did absolutely nothing besides creep everyone out
