Idk if this will focus on accepting ur identity, even so idc, bc for me it’s refreshing to see a character I can relate too, realizing you’re bi after thinking ur straight almost all ur life and denying it bc of society. Internalized homophobia doesn’t go away so quickly and it’s not the person at fault it’s society for creating such norms. (Sorry to get so serious but I saw many people were when talking about the mc denying his feelings)
I hate how they add rape as some kind of character development. You can show how a character is aggressive other than inflicting violence. It’s not normal to stay with someone who raped you no matter how much they say they love you
