Yaoi is basically written for straight female audience by mostly female authors. It's an extremely fetishized and sexualized portrayal of homosexual people. Yaoi doesn't represent real life homosexual community, actually far from it. It's quite fucked up tbh how most yaoi comics tends to romanticise rape, abuse and other toxic behaviours but believe me, it's got nothing to do with homosexual people. These comics are unrealistic.

There are many good yaoi comics too which are somewhat realistic and of quality. A variety of genre is there too. This one was just plain fucked up porn.
