i don’t think the beginning of this book matches the rest of it. like why would the seme kidnap and physically assault the uke, but later on he’s super cautious when it comes to consent? he’s a really nice person outside of the first half of chapter one, i wish they met another way.

He was abondened by his parents when he was still a child and learned everything about life on the street also he is a yakuza, he doesnt probably know any other way except by taking what he wants by force. Yet he gets easily attracted to people and trusts them completely just like his boss said so he wants to protect the person he loves/believes that he loves.

for a story that started off with the lvoe interest being punched and then transported while unconscious to a random hotel room, the rest of this turned out to be surprisingly pleasant and adorable. there wasn’t any stockholm syndrome, and everything was consensual. except for the punching and basically kidnapping part....i weirdly love this.
while shin is incredibly brilliant in matters regarding the government, he is painfully dumb and dense with matters regarding emotion
