It's a Chinese character,and it means "sorrow" - 哀.
One interesting fact, this character "哀" has the same pronunciation in Chinese to the character "愛" in the original title, which means "love". And the whole story is telling the change of uke's feeling from being disappointed to being loved.

The drama adaptation is sooo good and the plot is super interesting, when I read the webtoon though it's kinda different from the drama's storyline. Im thinking they might've made some changes in the drama's plot. I wanted to read the webtoon ahead of the drama airing but it's disappointing because of the plot ┗( T﹏T )┛
