It's not black skin or white skin!!!
There are many variations of asian skins, some of which are darker. Stop acting like there are only two fucking skin colours. If you're gonna make a comment on here, please acknowladge this. Racism does very much apply to asian people. It's not a white and black issue.
Please consider where the author was raised. I am not defending the author. I just think that all of you should consider the fact that large parts of their cultures view darker skin as a sign of poverty. This belief is still held today and they bleach their skin to be whiter. Their whole culture overall is very judgmental. People of the same races judge each other based on the shades of their skins.
The author making the MC darker is a huge sign of that. Honestly, untill I read all the comments I though that this would be a story about her accepting herself and people accepting her for how she was born. But saddly that's not the case.

I think you're a bit confused. Her skin isn't white now, it it will be white in the future (Wtf author.)
My point is completely separate. I am pointing out that almost everyone is acting as though her skin is black/brown right now when it's really just a dark shade of Asian skin, kinda like dark olive skin. I am not saying that this is a reason to ignore the fact that her skin will get turned into white skin, I am saying that we shouldn't treat racism as a black and white issue. Other skin colors exist which people get discriminated based on. Yet when we talk about racial discrimination we always talk about only the struggle of black people while ignoring the struggles of other races/ethnic groups.

I knew a girl in highschool and things between us went a little like this. We were neither friends nor strangers and I honestly wish I could have gotten to know her because I think of her everyday.
She isn't dead, but it feels like it. There is no sign of her anywhere. I hope that she is well but who knows.
Anyways, sometimes when things get to me too much I just come here and read this. I just love the fantasy of getting to talk to her again, a chance to change the way things ended.
So this was much more of a mini rant than anything else but honestly i have been keeping this to myself for a long time.

its all in the tytle.

It overplays stereotypes too much. The characters are way too outlandish and unrealistic... like none of them act how a human would.
I'm going to be honest. I only read the first chapter because of how painful this is to read. I get that the author had good intentions but seriously both the villain and good characters are both just so... just not human-like.

I get what you mean but the characters are exaggerated because it's comedy,it's not meant to be realistic. It's good to take it with a pinch of salt I guess.
The first chapter is pretty bad compared to the rest of it,it gets better with each chapter in my opinion.
Btw the hate aimu recieves is unrealistic but I've seen something similar to it irl, people are more subtle about it but the bad attitude still exists.

Honestly, I don't find it funny... like at all. I get that the when they showed the mc in the first chapter it was meant to be a shock value type of thing but honestly I don't get how it's supposed to be funny. And even if we get past that, it's a joke made on the expense of the guy. I get that he isn't real and doesn't have feeling but imagine that you're a tough-looking well build guy reading this and you so happen to like things that are considered to be "feminine". You start reading this and you're just so happy that you are finally getting represented, you're practically jumping in joy but then you see that you're the pinnacle of the joke because you don't fit into your ascribed role.
This is much more of an overall type of statement but basically taking stereotypes and applying them to the other gender while also pointing out "look, I'm going against social norms" isn't helping. It's just reinforcing those stereotypes. In this case, the author could have just not attempted at the whole "shock value" thing and could have treated it how he would treat any other thing. Like yeah, he is a dude and likes girly things but so what? And then just showed that despite the fact that this person is doing nothing wrong, they get treated differently.
Another thing that I just can't agree with this is how the villains are represented. Just like you said, people like that exist and honestly are really shitty. But if you're gonna include "inner dialogue" from them then it would be best to think about how they justify those things to themselves. Let's take a look at the red-headed idiot. He wouldn't be thinking "wow I'm so manly"... people don't just go around thinking stuff like that. I do like the girl he was talking with, strong and independent. But honestly, the redhead was just so unrealistic. And this type of stuff does influence how we think and in a way, this is doing us a disservice because it's not accurate. Some people will see this and then when they walk to someone who thinks those things their ideas of it will be too oversimplified. The author could have given us some insight into how that person thinks but then at some point in the storyline, created a situation that would make people who agree with the redhead question their views. And while I do think it's unlikely that someone with those opinions would read this, a viewer could use that against people like that.
While I do get that this is a story, I do think that the writer should consider everything really well especially when it represents minorities and social issues. I don't have anything against the writer as I get that they weren't intentionally trying to represent people like that. Honestly, they probably saw other things like that and just repeated them which is in a way human nature. We do/behave based on what we been taught by our society. You're right about this being more subtle in society and yes issues do still exist which is exactly why we should treat those issues seriously.
I may give the rest a chance since you say that it gets better. I'm just so annoyed right now. It's hard to find a good open-minded manga/webtoon/comic/ anything. Big apologies for such a long reply. I just love talking about things like this, plus it's good to practice. I do agree with the things you said, I just think we need to consider more things.

Yep,that "shock value" thing was a big turn-off to me too. And the author misrepresents a lot during the whole story, especially masculinity is represented as cruel and inhuman while in real life it's not like that at all. I think the funny parts are mostly good but the feeling parts where they have to show the hardships of the main character is pretty bad because most characters lack depth and they are too mean for no reason.
It would have been better if the author researched a bit and had more info about the issue they want to represent because as a story against stereotypes,it has tons of stereotypes in itself. This could've been way better but I'm reading in hopes it improves, it got better when some new characters were introduced but it still has a long way to go.

Hell yeah I do. And while they are extreme, they wouldn't behave like this. This isn't even about bullies, it's about ALL the characters. Even the girl in chapter one who didn't take any crap (the one I praised), is an unrealistic/flawed character.
It doesn't matter if it's for comedic effect as
1) this is subjective but it ain't funny
2)represents minorities really badly - come on, we really do need good representations as there is so little of it.
And honestly, back in the day, they did the whole blackface thing for comedic effect too. I'm not saying that it's on the same level, but it's the same principle.
For all I know, maybe the story gets better later on but so far it's just not good IMO. Other than the character's identity and the bullies, the story does not imply/show an objective - where the story is going. What is the main character's goal? Maybe they show it later on but it just isn't here.

Cuz I got attacked? So far it was just a good discussion. Sure, what Mars Kelle said was a bit rude but it was far from an attack. You implying that I and everyone else are "shit talkers" is literally the only actual trash thing anyone said in this comment section.
"iTs mY OpInIoN" -> like nah, you were just talking trash and being hella rude. Plus it was ironic since you got your ass over here to talk shit and told me not to come at you. Hun, in what way did I ever insult you in that reply? Idk why you're offended.

I'm so sorry, I would have understood what you mean if you were clear and spoke in full sentences. I understand that some people don't receive a proper education but I do think that learning some grammar would really improve your career prospects. I suggest that you go onto youtube and type in "basic grammar lessons." If you don't know how to spell it, you can always just copy and paste :D
But other than that, I do think that you should consider that I did not attack you/come at you. You could have cleared up the misunderstanding if you wanted to.
Oh and since you were on about the "asian bullies" I do think that I should let you know that they will say really horrible things to your face. Talking "shit" is far from the worse thing they will do when the teachers aren't looking... and some teachers won't even care if those things happen in front of them. Their education system does put high pressure on students and shames those who aren't good enough.
Once again, I apologize for not reading your mind. Hopefully, my mind-reading abilities will improve in the future.

Like a phsycial copy of this? It's basically my mental break-down manga for when I feel like shit so I want a copy of it.

Found on Lehinz but can't find anything else

Hi guys so it's been a long time since chapter 1 and the story will come to an end soon. I remember reading this on here from the very beginning.
I'm glad to see that people are no longer blaming Dohyun like they used to.
I'm also happy that the author is finally able to continue the story. I still remember watching people argue over what was happening when Lehinz was getting exposed. Honestly, despite waiting with antipation for months, I haven't read any of the recent chapters. I just don't want the story to end.
We all know that the only way for this story to end is in bittersweet tragedy.
I haven't gone "oh I wish this manga had one more volume/season" since a very long time but when it comes to this story, I will say this no matter how many chapters we get. This will proably be my favourite manga ever although I'm not sure if I will ever get the courage to finishi it.

Oh my goodness, yessss!! Same here! I've been reading it on here since the beginning & stuck with it through the tumtultuous period of hiatus. After going through that's, it feels like we're being rewarded by the authors with this amazing story!!! I love it!!
& It's funny because I did the same thing. I stopped reading for a little while cuz I was anxious for it to end XD.
It's bittersweet because I want to see the amazing conclusion to the authors' masterpiece, but I also adore this story & don't want to say goodbye to these characters. I've grown very attached to them.
This story is my absolute favorite
Literally needs a whole series. I loved that one.
