This story is actually very realistic! It amazed me!
1 the ml: i find the ml relatable, he's not those quick intelligent characters that we normally found. He's actually like people in normal life, well, like me. Does not remember much, instinctual for his life, as adaptable as he can, doing a smuch as he can, not intelligent and know what to do for his goals, lastly, LOTS OF TRY AND ERROR! Coz srsly, if i transmigrated and found myself in this kind of world plot, i would be just like him- die many times lol. Also i found him really lovable. Even after dying many times and having trauma over it, he still find joys in simple things. He's strong.
2 the fate: i like the butterfly effects. And the truth behind what he knew like the sculpture. Everything went out of control as in line when you change the future. But fortunately, everything were actually better. I especially love the painter to teacher story. And rooting for the little knight (yeahhh push that psycho away lol)
3 the characters: actions have logical reasons. And people who are hurt did not heal so easily.
4 in which case the empress: the tragedy happenings in her life results to collected bitterness and resentment. Even to her own sis, which i actually found understandable, resentment can come without reasons, even if you understand and accept the purpose behind some things, doesnt mean that you like it. The empress understand her sister, but it is undeniable that her sister left, she can not stay with her sister and be calm within her presence. Sometimes you just want people to be there with you, no matter what. And considering all those tragedies and shimmering in vengeful feelings, ofc there would effects; her psychoticness. In my opinion she actually envisioned what i thought a ruler is; calculating, vicious, using pawns, focus and goals and all of that. While it is upsetting that she orders her sis a lot, as a ruler with little people to trust, you would have choose the person you confirm would be loyal and ultimately give them lots of chores, because they are the person you trust. She fully knows what her sis can handle too. These siblings actually have the same mind wave lol. And i love to see them.
5 the duchess choice: well, she is a duke to an empire. Her loyalty and duty are bound to the empire and empress no matter what. And i find that's realistic. There will be duty over love, rensponsibilities you cant throw away so easily and family over people. While it certainly opposes to what the lovable trope is, this is the reality.
6 not easily accepting of the ml: well he have blood relations with the tyrant. As distrustful, vengeful and bitter the empress is, it's understandable. Still upsetting though.
All in all, im actually invested in this story lol.
I like the characters too, they are funny and insane. Hope to see more connections with background characters.
I hate hate HATE this justus. It's one thing as a villain, it's another thing for harold to avoid death flags while also making sure the world will be fine. Double another, for him being UNDER JUSTUS.
When that's the reason why his ultimate death flag will happen.
