Well, they are both at fault since if they were REALLY serious about it, they would’ve made a written contract which would be very difficult to break. And I get that she just wanted to be loved since she was deprived of it her whole life. At the time, she knew that she wasn’t going to be loved so she did it for the money, but now that she and Jeehan are in love with each other, she can’t go through with the contract marriage anymore
Honestly I agree, because this contract was a bit more of a lose for her.
He could always have an affair partner, people wouldn't assume right away that a guy he was hanging out with was actually his lover. But if they did figure it out, the whispers behind her back would have been awful.
Plus, in their country, he could have never married a man, so it isn't exactly a ton of skin off his nose that he would never be able to marry the guy he loved (now that's also a completely different story because he may have wanted to in the future but just legally can't) but she would have to essentially turn down her chances at love because she's married.
