He's like the looking cold type but softie(?) inside. To protect his wife he had to show that he doesnt care for her or be indifferent with her while secretly writing out his plans for the future. In reality he truly love his wife and want to save her so when he learned that his wife died, it was a very heartbreaking moment

oh don't worry, she will definitely be beheaded in the far future. as for the emperor, he's kinda... conflicting. there are times that he's not totally supportive of the bloody bitch, but he's not exactly supportive of our queen either. he definitely gets better though, but i wasn't satisfied with his redemption arc, i sometimes feel like he got off too easy.

So I dropped it asap as soon as they made a clear lie on chapter 7. Throughout the whole first chapters im seeing a mixture of cultures, some Arab, European, East Asian, Desi clothing, so I was kinda scared that they were gonna say something about islam, like I felt coming.

Usually when people use Desi and Arab culture, they link it to isalm which is very ignorant, they usually mix desi and Arab culture which is a red flag lol. On chapter 7 they were going through the history of the country and talked about how the Muslim armies came and basically brought the Harlem culture and it stayed every since. First Harlems happen everywhere including east Asia were the ML's clothing are from, or maybe Europe where FL is from so why Islam?

Islam is anti Harlems. A Muslim can only be in a relationship relationship after marriage, the marriage has to be agreed on both sides, no bullshit around concubines and mistress. If you thing it's degrading or disrespectful towards the women, its not allowed in Islam. Rape in islam is a death penalty and you go to hell after you die. And even if the women are willing, he has to first be married to her so legally and islamically he can't run from he's responsible.

I remember when I was learning about how the original Muslim soldiers (true muslims who followed islam) would go to war and the enemy would use their women and have them naked trying to get the soldier's attention(which is disgusting), but them being decent human beings at such a time period (which sadly was rare, were talking about a time women were crazy oppressed by everyone and thing) the muslim soldiers didn't even look they're direction out of respect to them (keep in mind respecting women wasn't thing for almost all pplz and Muslims were one of the very few who did). They won the war and the women, the children, the war prisoners were all treated with extreme respect, a lot of them converted to islam. Islam is also the same religion that says dont even burn a tree, a freaking tree when you're at war. And the reason why I told that story was because the author mention Muslim Armes in a negative way like we were Europeans colonziers.

bottom line, if it sounds wrong, unjust, bad, unhealthy, negative we dont do it
