I think that was the big twist in the end. Although we know from the beginning Minjae killed the father's son. - We don't why or how yet. In the end we realise the true villain in t his story was Minjae. Even the kid in hospital told his lover that Minjae only causes pain and destruction to whom ever he gets involved in. He is poison.

I couldn't believe how little his past actions seem to affect him in his current life. Not even a passing thought or hindrance of remorse or guilt for what he did. He lives without a care in the world with "father". Who has to see this everyday from the person that murdered his child.
There are clues to the type of person Minjae is by how treats those around him, the student who he cruelly dismissed when he was getting bullied and begged for helped. And his "friend" whom he exploits his feelings to serve his own needs.
