I honestly think it was a good thing he didn't see the carnage right away. He might have mercy killed just to take him out of his pitiful situation, while simultaneously killing someone he was supposed to kill anyway. I have been saying this from the get-go lol
People are saying Sharpe doesn't care but if he really didn't care he wouldn't have flown off the handle after being told by his boss to "tie up loose ends" or basically kill AJ. He literally YELLED at his boss that AJ still had his uses and that there was no point in killin' him till his boss cut the line on him.
He said some hurtful things but tensions were high and the possibility of AJ's "insubordination" reaching Sharpe's boss's ears could put him at a higher risk.
I don't think so that would jeopardize his mission I don't think he is to that point yet.
