One of those rare yaoi gems in where the interaction with the side characters is what makes the story really shine. I don't think I would have liked this story as much as I did if it wasn't for his zany, but honest friends. It's like I see people I know in them, because their reactions are refreshingly normal for teenage boys.

I don't even know where to begin. It kind of just drops you into the story with little to no back story other than these are brothers who are fucking and who happen to be teachers. It reads like a chapter two instead of a oneshot. Their urethra play is the stuff of emergency room nightmares.
Agreed! I'm super confused, and the storyline is pretty much nonexistent. The sex scenes are sexy, but the urethra sex is just downright nasty and unrealistic (like I'm pretty sure you can't do that in real life)

I think before you read a manga, especially yaoi manga it's advisable to read the tags first. It's a bit misplaced to complain about the lack of plot when the manga is tagged with adult, smut, incest and urethra play. Of course there are smut with plot but usually smut means pwp (porn without plot/plot what plot). It's like complaining about the lack of romance in a action shonen manga.
My only hope for this manga is that Iwaki gets the opportunity to royally fuck that Chiba dude's life. I hope he absolutely destroys him as he is the sole reason for making an already messy situation that much more shittier. Iwaki and Shou could have made this ordeal work, no matter how heartbreaking and hard it would be for the both of them. But they didnt even get the opportunity to really try. Seriously, fuck that guy for causing that expression on Iwaki's face. He is absolutely destroyed.

I'm not really feeling this one at all. It just seems to drag on and on with little to no character development at all. I think it peaks when Keishi and the friend/neighbor shows up. Other than that, Yuishi is kind of stupid and way too gullible. He listens to everything anyone tells him and then tries to use that advice in his relationship. At what point do you stop listening to the advice that hasn't worked yet? At some point the "he's only 17 and still young" excuse doesn't work.
So the sequel is EditorxKitajima. Interesting.
Well, I'm just going to go ahead and say that Rules ended after the last volume. I just can't with this story. Not after looking after the raws. Yuki is moron and I really hope Hikaru finds REAL love from someone. Seriously, fuck Yuki in this story. I rooted for them and Yuki is going to piss on everything they had for a student.

This chapter just made me love the grandpa's all the more. They really are awesome and have pretty much supported him his whole life. I love when mangaka can create side characters that make the readers care about their wellbeing just as much as the main characters. They rock.
