I don’t like that. I have real difficulties believing ML, I know he has morals and is essentially a good person BUT he acts to similarly to the ex !!!!! The only difference is that one has a conscience and the other none ! They’re pretty much both the same type (possessive, obsessive and controlling)
Exactly, through the whole story, I couldn't stop cringing because of this reason. MC's choices gave me the ick. Like, my boy, are you sure about choosing another dominant CEO type who can easily exploit you? At least if he could doubt him a little that would be more realistic.
