Can people stop hating on the prince ? Most of you need to be reminded that the circumstances have changed, Elise herself has learned her lesson from being a spoilt brat to become a hardworking more appreciative lady. Which is obviously more attractive than her past self, therefore the prince will obviously have a different reaction to her kind personality and fall in love.
I mean...he killed her in her past life...and burned her alive like they did with the witches in the past, I think that's enough reason to hate him lol even if she had behavioural problems that's not enough reason to kill someone and all their family.
Even if she has become a better person and learned from her mistakes the problem here is the prince, not herself, the prince is still a dick because if Elise wouldn't have changed he would've killed her again...still, it's just a comic
Ok but you need to understand that the reason he burned her to the stake is because she was a horrible Queen, Empress whatever. She turned the whole kingdom upside down so it’s understandable tbh. And Elise, as he recalls, was a bitch, so now that he knows she not like these typical girls ofc hes going to notice her more and, eventually, fall in love with her.
and didn't she try to kill the woman he eventually falls for a marries? Or is that another story I am reading? haha.. STILL, I agree, I can't feel him as a romantic lead knowing he killed her before. It doesn't work for me personally.

from what i remember it wasn't just because of her behavior why she and her family died. there were other factors. it wasn't all at once, more like one by one all those who like her or are on her side died..?(plague thingy, diseases,war,etc.)
also i guess the reason why she was executed is like that of Marie Antoinette kinda thing...? (sorry idk much about world history hahaha )
but i guess prince (emperor at the previous timeline) only did that cause his hatred for her was at it's peak, it's full capacity, for all the crap she did to let the empire fall economically(...?) that's why his anger and hatred for her( and that of the people) led to her execution.
besides in the current timeline he didn't really know her (only knew her from their childhood but that's it i guess?) he is just annoyed by her since he knows she likes him and wants to be an empress just cause of his looks/the title the riches/etc. and also rumors about her bad behavior. he knows at that time that wouldn't be fit for an empress
but it changed when she didn't want to be. he got curious (or i guess interested) now that she has changed to a better person. OF COURSE his feelings gonna change.
if Elise hadn't changed (to the now reincarnated Elise) she'd still be a bitch and she'd still die.
I don't think he's a dick. he wanted to save his friend who might have died by giving the noble gold medal thingy i think. he followed his father's orders and sacrificed what he really wanted since he's the prince of the empire and next in line to the throne. I guess he just has a decision making of a prince/soon to be emperor... you know like those "i will do this for my people and it is the right thing to do" kinda dude... that's how i see him idk
i think she died not just cause of the emperor but also because the people hate her and had a revolt to overthrow and worse of all wanted to kill her.

yeah there were not really crimes it was things that happened at the time like the war in the expedition and the plagues that will/may happen in the future and the diseases that might kill her step mom and the current emperor(which i know she will prevent from happening)
i guess it was just bad timing and circumstance (am i saying these things right?) for her since while everything was already/ gonna fall in ruins she is still spoiling herself with abundant food/jewelry/beautiful dresses/parties/etc. with the empire's money since she was the empress in the previous timeline.... you know like the Marie Antoinette lady

from what i can remember the war that would have happened in the first expedition would have killed her eldest brother and i think the second expedition would also kill his other brother... idk anymore

I think he became that way because of the circumstances, and because(as someone’s previously said) that his hatred was at it's peak. Besides, back in the day, it was probably acceptable to kill a woman because of they offended the emperor.
