That was a great ending!!! I understand the frustrations of how the mom was viewed at the end and tried to make her a good guy after all the stuff she’s done. But honestly, its so realistic how this went, how she softened up when her actual mother instincts came when nao was giving birth and how she felt a joy when holding chiyo. I feel like her seeing tsubaki be his own person and know true happiness with nao really made her understand the situation and herself. It was a late development but atleast she was able to be at ease knowing tsubaki and nao are happy and enjoying their life together and still able to accept her back into their lives
