If the author wanted to go down this route and have the prince approach the FL at least make his actions make sense. Make him sly, crafty, and petty, have him make a plan to drag down Alphonse's reputation and put a wedge in their relationship using his position. How does embarrassing himself in high society help his goal in anyway? He could use the people that idolize him to his advantage instead of yelling at them. When characters act like this, they end up feeling like flat robotic props, only existing to make the main characters look better and smarter. Putting the side characters in an impossible and predictable situation just isn't exciting imo
Honestly it feels like the author ran out ideas for conflict in the story. "Oh everything is going smoothly? Let's take a decent character and make him become a jealous irrational villain. At the end of the day he's a side character so who cares." Idk, it's kinda leaving a bad taste in my mouth
I thought something was off, Akihito probably has amnesia they probably took advantage of that and fed him a bunch of lies to turn him against Asami. PLEASE NO
That’s what I thought too. When he woke up from the coma he looked like he didn’t know what had happened and why he was in the hospital. They probably told him Asami was the person that put him there or something like it...can’t wait to the next update! ヽ(゚Д゚;)ノ!!
Yeah having the ML say that their customs were "annoying" and having his attendant agree saying that they could be killed for "disrespect". Yikes, that was not it.
They came uninvited.... respect is good, but considering the time that this takes place in, it’s almost impossible to know everything about the other cultures, in order to provide them with quality hospitality. So it would have been weirder if they knew everything and were prepared beforehand.
