Yes I understand where you coming from. But it’s another thing to feel- I guess empowered. It may not be the best but it’s the same as black people say they hate yt people. Obv they don’t hate them all. Same with acab. A generalized statement helps to get the point across and I get it’s not best for sure. But I’ve noticed when using most men or some they tend to think themselves of that nice guy. 100% kill all men isn’t good but you also can’t say that all the nice guys aren’t misogynistic. Bc the reality is they can be- living in a society where it is. As well as how we even in poc communities we have racist mindsets. Maybe not rascist but idk the word for, examples like colorism or westernized beauty standard. Using a generalized statement could help to reflect.
Yeah Like empowerment against patriarchy or sexism, I get what ur saying, but in some cases it’s really overused. Like I understand that it’s a blanket statement saying that men need to do better.
