I thought so too, I think Hestia’s initial war path in the name of Kael brought about some of it, but even with the knowledge of to do better Diana still went full swing into denial. A possible reason she lost her saintly powers is due to her hypocrisy, she claims to be an advocate for the poor while never again actually giving them aid and spending time with them like she did before becoming the crown princess. Like in the past, she’s so self-absorbed she can’t see that Helios does love her even when he tells her things she doesn’t like about herself or the kingdom.
